A guy friend of mine today said it was weird that my friend had all the X-Men movies because she was a girl. Needless to say we almost threw him out of the car. So I would like to prove to him that just because we have vagina’s that doesn’t impair us from enjoying an action film.

My wife knows comics, superheroes, x men, batman, and many other “guy” things as well and in some cases better than me. We regularly discuss backstory, canon, spin offs, screw ups and everything else under the sun. We fall asleep discussing Batman, Xmen, fantastic 4 (and how much of a dick Reed Richards is), Star Trek, Star Wars, anime, firefly, doctor who, sherlock etc etc.
I don’t understand why some retarded misogynistic asshole would complain because a friend, girlfriend or wife would sit down and enjoy the same shit as him. My wife is no less of a woman because she can kick my ass at video games or reads Batman comics. Fandoms were created for all to enjoy, all fandoms were. Yes some cater more towards men but that makes them no less possible for a woman to find it enjoyable. If you don’t like women enjoying your fandom, don’t talk to women.
I believe anyone should be allowed to like whatever they want. As a man, I’m offended someone would so ignorant about a woman liking the same things as them. You don’t have to fight for the things you like if they like them too, duh :P
